Fax 2 email ease of use

The fax 2 email user's fax number is referred to as the 'user number' for all active applications. The fax 2 email user's fax number will be mapped (linked) to the email address supplied by the user on registration. Only one email address may be mapped to the user's 086 fax 2 email number.

Faxes are received on the user's 086 number and are then converted to a TIFF / PDF document. The email address linked to that 086 number is then obtained from the database and an email is sent to the user with the TIFF / PDF file as an attachment.

It is a condition of use that a customer who has been allocated a fax 2 email number shall ensure that the number is used in order to satisfy the regulator (ICASA) that the number is not dormant. Should a number so allocated not receive one fax per month, the right is reserved to cancel such number and withdraw the number from the customer and re-allocate the number to a new user. Fax 2 email users will be contacted from time to time regarding updates, amendments and new products / services.
